Vienna-based designer Teresa Berger’s utilitarian and sculptural objects bring a design practice to light that combines craft with a new form language. Following her graduation from Design Academy Eindhoven Teresa lived abroad for several years, working for international design studios. In early 2019 she started her studio in Copenhagen.

Intrigued by the rich tradition of ceramics and its possibility of adapting to our contemporary requirements and needs Teresa works with clay as a primary medium. In her recent work, she aims to highlight the inherent beauty of nature through hand-building and slip-casting. The functional objects she designs harmoniously intertwine material, form, color and construction.
